Job Description

Inkunzi Investments (Pty) Ltd, invites applications from suitable candidates to apply for the post of Chief Investment Officer. The incumbent will manage the corporate, strategic, and financial opportunities of the company. Responsible for analytical, due diligence and acquisition and new business opportunities. Analysing market trends to help advise business on the current or prospective corporate clients.

Job Description

  • Formulating and monitoring execution of investment strategies on clients’ accounts by portfolio managers.
  • Carrying out financial modelling, developing, and presenting appropriate financial solutions to clients.
  • Preparation and presentation of Investment reports to clients.
  • Evaluation of different Investment portfolios on the stock exchange
  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communication with different clients and stakeholders.
Supervising and guiding investment analyst on analysis of companies listed or seeking listing on the Botswana Stock Exchange.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Client first attitude, personal integrity and an understanding of fiduciary responsibility
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Self-motivated, confident, detail-oriented, and analytical Demonstrated knowledge of various securities markets

Qualifications:

  • A first Degree in Finance or Investment Management.
  • Master’s Degree in Finance and Investment, and CFA is an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 15 years’ experience in Investment Management and,
  • A minimum of 10 years as a member of the senior management.
